Cables Break On "Free Fall" Amusement Park Ride
[ VIDEO ] The ride, appropriately called the ‘Free Fall Tower’, at the Queensland Amusement Park plunged 10 feet to the ground after the steel cables holding the platform snapped, injuring 12 riders.
A heart-wrenching video is going viral on social media where a joyride cable snaps, leaving several people injured. The incident took place at a theme park in Chennai. In the video, people can be seen enjoying a ride but as the joyride reaches close to the ground, the cable suddenly snaps. The people onboard, slams on the ground, however, there have been no serious injuries. The theme has has been closed and police have initiated an inquiry into the matter to find out the exact reason of the mishap.
