Would you dine at a restaurant recommended to you by one of the world's most beloved celebrity food critics?

Guy Fieri knows quality food. The star hosts Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, currently on its 40th season, and spends much of his time traveling across America in search of the country's best eateries.

In fact, there is one Michigan restaurant that has not only received the TV personalities stamp of approval, but is his favorite place to dine in the entire state.

According to a list compiled by LoveFood, the absolute best restaurant in Michigan is The Fly Trap in Ferndale. This restaurant's delicious, high quality food is the best of the best, at least if Fieri has anything to say about it!

Here's what LoveFood had to say about the best restaurant in the entire state according to Guy Fieri:

"This Ferndale favourite featured early on in the history of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, making its television debut during the show's second season in 2008. Thankfully, its legacy lives on, with customers still travelling from afar to get their hands on the same burger Fieri sampled. An innovative offering, the Red Chili Salmon Burger comes loaded with shaved cucumber and ginger-lime aioli. Other menu highlights include the gingerbread waffle with sautéed apple, cherries and cinnamon syrup, and the crab cakes with green chilli tartar sauce."
