Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love was injured during the second quarter of his team's final regular season game against the NFC North Division rival Chicago Bears on Sunday (January 5).
Love appeared to be getting treatment on his right throwing arm on the sideline after being replaced by backup Malik Willis. Willis, who was acquired by the Packers during the offseason and made sporadic starts while Love dealt with a knee injury, led Green Bay on a touchdown drive during his first possession.
Packers wide receiver Christian Watson was also carted off the field due to a knee injury in Sunday's game and both he and Love are questionable to return, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
"#Packers QB Jordan Love (right elbow) and WR Christian Watson (knee) are both questionable to return against the #Bears," Pelissero wrote on his X account.
Willis went 2-0 as a starter in 2024, throwing for 414 yards and three touchdowns on 30 of 41 passing, while also recording 135 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries. Love threw for 69 yards on 7 of 12 passing prior to the injury.
The former Utah State standout entered Sunday's game with 3,320 yards, 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions on 261 of 413 passing in 14 appearances during the 2024 NFL season.
