We ate and drank our way around the world at Epcot. Sort of. We split it all because it’s a lot 😂🙃 We had no idea it was the Wine and Food Festival which stepped it up a ton!!! Here was the temp tattoo marking off each country that we talked about in What’s in the Box! Such a fun idea from my wife. Back at it tomorrow!! I wondered if pushing back this weekend would take away the magic of celebrating our anniversary. It didn’t. It was some much needed alone time. ❤️🥰🥰
“7 years of mischief managed” 🥰❤️ An EPIC Anniversary weekend!!! Day one stared with a day at Epic Universe. We are big kids when it comes to this stuff and there is nobody I’d rather do it with. 🍾❤️🎉 Cheers to many more Mrs Aguilar
Takeaway from this trip: Disney and Universal really are some of the most fun you can have as an adult. A few things I learned along the way: Florida weather in October can go either way — absolutely perfect or a total mess — but it definitely breaks up the summer heat. And honestly, it’s all about how you handle the rain; if you’re willing to lean into it, anything can be fun. “Drinking around the world” sounds great in theory, but I’d recommend picking a few favorite stops so you can actually enjoy the experience. Epic Universe proved that these parks are just as magical for adults as they are for kids. I also realized that everyone vacations differently. Some people love slowing down and soaking in the atmosphere — that’s how I picture myself exploring places like Italy someday. But right now? I’m all about the fast-paced, adventure-filled trips.
